Sign-ups open for $50,000 Gfinity CSGO Spring Series

gfinity spring series 2018 1

Gfinity has announced that the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Spring Series 2018 is now open for registration to teams in EU and NA.

Competitors will be competing for a share of the $50,000 prize pool when the tournament returns in June.

Gfinity says it retains true to its roots with a commitment to grassroots esports. All skill levels are able to compete thanks to competition’s three divisions: amateur, intermediate and main.

Participating teams will battle it out across eight weeks in a Swiss style season format in order to qualify for the Playoffs. As well as the prize pool, they will compete to become champions of Europe and North America.

Team registrations are now open via https://cevo.com/gfinitycsgo at discounted early bird prices.

Pre-season begins on June 10th and ends June 28th, with the regular season taking place from July 2nd to August 31st. Playoffs start September 2nd.

You can see a breakdown of each skill division below:

Main Division – $15,000 prize pool per region

The Main Division is the invite-only skill division consisting of 48 skilled and experienced teams (per region) looking for serious, near-professional competition.

Teams can qualify to play in this division through their performance in the previous season, and sometimes through our off-season MVP tournaments.

Main teams will play two matches per week on Monday and Thursday evenings in both North America and Europe across one national conference (per region) and compete for the top cash prizes:
