ESL UK reveals date for rescheduled League of Legends Premiership final

esl prem final rescheduled 1

The ESL UK & Ireland League of Legends Autumn 2017 Premiership Grand Final has been given a date.
The final – between Team Singularity and Excel Esports – will take place on Saturday November 4th from 3pm over at ESL’s League of Legends Twitch channel.
The announcement comes after the semi-finals concluded at EGX last month, with Excel beating NerdRage and Singularity defeating MnM Gaming.
Due to packet loss problems which plagued several games throughout the day, the grand final was postponed to a later date, and will now be played out in early November.
The date was confirmed by ESL in this announcement post, which also recapped the semi-final matches.
It’s the first time both teams have made it to the ESL UK & Ireland Premiership Grand Final, and both will certainly be up for this and raring to go.
Excel Esports bot lane players Aux and Innaxe told Esports News UK back at i61 that they will win the Prem final, while Singularity will no doubt be on a high after defeating reigning champions and favourites MnM Gaming in the semi-final.
Here’s the current ESL Prem champions:

  • Team Infused (Spring 2015)
  • Team Infused (Summer 2015)
  • Renegades Banditos (now known as Misfits, Spring 2016)
  • MnM Gaming (Summer 2016)
  • MnM Gaming (Spring 2017)
  • Excel or Singularity (Autumn 2017)
