In an unexpected turn of events, French esports organisation Millenium have acquired the UK Call of Duty team formerly under Team Infused for a rumoured £40,000.
The squad, consisting of Peatie, Moose, MarkyB and Nolson, are currently second in the EU pro point standings, a short way behind Splyce, whom they will be hoping to overtake this weekend at the CWL Dallas Open.
This change comes shortly after Millenium released their former team of Frenchmen ZeeK, TonyJ, mAxxie and Carbon, who had failed to make an impact in the European scene and were 20th in pro point standings prior to their release.
Millenium will be attending CWL Dallas in a group with EUnited, Cloud9 and Mindfreak, whom they will be hoping to see off and progress through the tournament to secure the title of the UK’s – and indeed Europe’s – best Call of Duty team.

Millenium as an organisation have been a mainstay in the Call of Duty esports scene since as early as 2013, where they placed 17th-32nd at CoD Champs, and since then have homed some of the UK’s finest players including the likes of Swanny, Madcat, Jurd and Tommey.
They are all players known worldwide as some of the greatest CoD gamers to not only conquer Europe, but also to try their hand across the pond.
Expectations will be high with this new squad, and here’s hoping they continue their fine international form over the coming months.
Team Infused has put out a video wishing their former players well with their new team.
