The Hearthstone spring split promises to be an exciting one, with upcoming patch Journey to Un’Goro dropping right in the middle of the season, it will no doubt play a huge part in the split.
Players’ abilities to adapt to major meta shifts at the halfway point of a crucial season will make for some interesting games.
New cards also mean a change to the standard cards available to players, with Journey to Un’Goro marking the beginning of the year of the Mammoth and an end to cards from Blackrock Mountain, The Grand Tournament, and League of Explorers.
The 2017 Hearthstone spring split begins March 27th and will conclude with the finals being played live at London Comic Con on May 26th to 28th.
Once the group stage is over, the top eight players will advance to a double elimination play-off, before the final four players from the elimination round head to the finals at London Comic Con.
You can catch all the action live over at the ESL Hearthstone Twitch Channel, and keep it locked to Esports News UK over the course of the Hearthstone Premiership as we will bring you match reports throughout the series.
